About
The Multiscope 3D can be used to determine the condition of mines that are inaccessible or too dangerous for humans. It uses 3D LiDARs too acquire a picture of the surrounding area.
In early 2019, the Estonian energy company Enefit utilized the Multiscope 3D to determine the condition of the pillars in a mine in which mining ended ten years ago.
For this mission the Multiscope was piloted underground using data coming from LiDARs and wide spectrum HDR cameras, however, autonomous operation can be applied in future projects.
