New Supervisory Board members complement Milrem Robotics with additional knowhow

In the end of last year new members were appointed to the Supervisory Board of the European technology provider Milrem Robotics complementing the company with knowhow from their fields of expertise.
The new experts in the supervisory board are Michael McElhenney, Harry Ollinen and Taavi Kotka.

Michael McElhenney is the current managing director of Houlihan Lokey, an American multinational independent investment bank and financial services company.

Harry Ollinen served as the Vice President of Marketing in Patria from 2006-2011 and worked the next 7 years as a Sales Director in BAE Systems. Currently he’s the managing director of Harry Ollinen Consulting AB.

Taavi Kotka is the first Chief Information Officer for the Government of Estonia and former CEO of Webmedia (now Nortal), a multinational strategic change and technology company headquartered in Tallinn.

“I’m delighted Michael, Harry and Taavi accepted the challenge of becoming our new supervisory board members bringing expertise from the financial, defence land systems and IT sectors,” said Kuldar Väärsi, CEO and majority shareholder of Milrem Robotics. “All of our supervisory board members will have an active role in guiding the company in the right direction to enhance our technology, drive sales and assure financial stability,” Väärsi added.

The other two members of Milrem Robotics’ supervisory board are Toomas Bergmann, entrepreneur and co-founder of several IT companies including Navirec and Ninja Solutions and Gen (ret) Riho Terras, former Commander of the Estonian Defence Forces who is serving as the chairman of the supervisory board.

Milrem Robotics is a European technology company established in 2013 focusing on manufacturing unmanned ground vehicles for defence and security forces, commercial and industrial clients and rescue services.
