09/10/2025 Christophe Muratet Joins Milrem Robotics to Drive Product Innovation and Growth

Milrem Robotics, a global leader in the development of autonomous robotic systems, is pleased to announce the appointment of Christophe Muratet as Chief Product Officer. In this new role, Muratet will oversee product strategy, development roadmaps, and execution across the company’s growing mission-critical robotics portfolio.

Muratet is an experienced product leader and AI strategist with extensive expertise in innovation, digital transformation, and designing scalable B2B and B2G solutions. Most recently, he served as Managing Director of Thales Digital Factory North America, where he led ventures and product innovation in defence, aerospace, security, and artificial intelligence.

“I’m deeply honoured to join Milrem Robotics at this pivotal moment in its development,” said Christophe Muratet. “Milrem’s track record in deploying unmanned ground systems in real operational and contested environments is unmatched, and the opportunity to shape products that materially enhance both defence and security in a rapidly evolving technological and geopolitical landscape is tremendously motivating. My goal is to ensure that our product strategy remains agile, user-centric, and deeply informed by front-line feedback, so that every solution delivers reliability, adaptability, and meaningful value to users across the globe.”

Kuldar Väärsi, Founder and CEO of Milrem Robotics, welcomed Muratet to the team, noting: “We are thrilled to welcome Christophe to our leadership team. His proven expertise in product innovation aligns perfectly with our vision to push the boundaries of what unmanned systems can do.” Väärsi added that robotics is the seamless integration of hardware and software, where robust hardware ensures reliability, while advanced software defines future capabilities. “With Christophe Muratet joining Milrem Robotics as Chief Product Officer, the company strengthens its ability to align these two domains, ensuring that reliable platforms are paired with cutting-edge software development to deliver systems that meet current operational demands and future strategic needs.”

As the company scales their operations, expands into new markets, and responds to increasingly complex defence and security challenges, having a product leader of Christophe’s calibre will help sharpen the company’s competitive edge, accelerate development, and ensure our systems meet and anticipate user needs.

Under Muratet’s leadership, a stronger focus will be placed on integrating real-world operational feedback—particularly from regions where Milrem systems are actively deployed—into product improvements and new offerings. The company will also deepen its investment in AI, autonomy, modular payloads, and system resilience, including communication, electronic warfare, and cybersecurity, to ensure its platforms remain effective in contested and evolving environments.
